Etika Kerja Islam bagi Konten Kreator: Kajian Hadist Tematik dalam Perspektif Max Weber

Abstract

The rapid growth of digital technology in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution has created new economic opportunities, including the profession of content creators. According to Islamic teachings, economic activities must align with the principles of lawful earnings and proper work ethics. This study aims to explore the concept of work ethics through a thematic analysis of selected hadiths, focusing on the pursuit of lawful income. The research applies a qualitative approach through library research, examining relevant hadiths that highlight values related to professional conduct and integrity. The findings reveal that Islam emphasizes honesty, responsibility, professionalism, and the pursuit of blessings in earning a livelihood. Common challenges faced by content creators such as the pressure to gain popularity and the temptation to compromise ethical standards for financial gain can be addressed by adhering to prophetic guidance. This study offers insights for Muslim content creators to maintain integrity while balancing productivity with Islamic values in digital creative work.
