Abstract

Purpose - This research aims to analyze the use of the Tes Online application as a medium for evaluating Arabic language learning. The very rapid development of technology has an impact on education so that evaluations can be carried out online, either from an application or related website. Evaluation aims to gather information regarding the level of progress, development and achievement of students as well as measuring the effectiveness of educators in delivering learning material.

Design/methodology/approach - Using qualitative research methods, this study investigates how effective the use of online test applications is in evaluating Arabic learning for students. in this study researchers used several research instruments including: observation, interviews, and document analysis. The data analysis used by the author is a descriptive technique with the stages of collecting all data obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation. then reduced so that it can display the data needed and then draw conclusions about the problems in the research.

Findings/results – The research shows that the use of online test applications is effective and greatly helps students in evaluation and saves more time in its implementation.

Originality/value - The benefits of this research show how the use of online test applications is very good in flexible learning evaluations.
