Abstract
This article describes the influence, background and tendencies of the al-Bayd}a>wi> school of thought on the method and style of interpretation in the book of tafsir Tafsi>r al-Bayd}a>wi>. Four aspects targeted from this research are: 1) source of interpretation, 2 ) how to explain , 3) read of interpretation , 4) objectives and orderly verses. The iqt}irani> method is the source aspect of interpretation, and the baya>ni> method from the perspective of explanation method, and the itna>bi> method from the perspective of interpretation reading, and the tahli>li method > from the aspect of target and orderly verses. There are three very dominant styles : 1) linguistics 2) theology in the style of al-'Ash'a >ri> 3) jurisprudence in the style of the Sha>fi'i> Madzhab.
