<p><strong data-start="0" data-end="52" data-is-only-node="">el-Ifta: Jurnal Hukum Maqasidi</strong> is a scholarly journal dedicated to advancing the study of Islamic law through the lens of <em data-start="144" data-end="165">maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah</em> (the higher objectives of the Sharī‘ah) as a framework for legal analysis, <em data-start="241" data-end="250">ijtihād</em>, and legal renewal. <p>Ijtihad is a crucial process in the formation of Islamic law to address contemporary problems that continue to evolve. This research aims to examine the rules (ḍawābiṭ) of ijtihad maqāṣidī from the perspective of Nuruddin al-Khadimi, a contemporary figure in maqasid thought. The research method used is normative legal research with a qualitative approach based on library research. Data analysis was conducted descriptively and analytically by outlining and critically examining the rules of ijtihad maqāṣidī in Al-Khadimi's perspective. The results show that Al-Khadimi divides the rules of ijtihad maqasidi into two main categories: general rules and specific rules. General rules include the legality and divine nature of maqasid, comprehensiveness (syumuliyyah), moral dimensions, and rationality. Meanwhile, specific rules include the instruments of istislah (maslahah mursalah), 'urf (customs), and ta’lil (legal argumentation). <p>Artikel ini bertujuan menjelaskan evolusi historis ijtihad maqāṣidī sejak era Nabi hingga pemikir kontemporer serta mengidentifikasi transformasi epistemologisnya dalam tradisi hukum Islam. Kajian ini berangkat dari pertanyaan apakah maqāṣid merupakan konstruksi teoretis yang muncul belakangan atau memiliki akar praksis yang berkelanjutan sejak periode awal Islam. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan historis-analitis berbasis studi pustaka terhadap teks klasik usul fikih dan karya pemikir modern, dengan kerangka periodisasi untuk memetakan perubahan konseptual dan metodologis dalam perkembangan ijtihad maqāṣidī. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perkembangan maqāṣidī berlangsung melalui empat fase utama: (1) fase praksis normatif pada era Nabi dan sahabat, ketika orientasi kemaslahatan hadir secara implisit; (2) fase formasi metodologis pada masa pembentukan mazhab; (3) fase kodifikasi teoretis dalam usul fikih klasik; dan (4) fase rekonstruksi kontemporer yang menempatkan maqāṣid sebagai paradigma reformasi hukum Islam.
