In addition, there needs to be more research examining the role of organizational learning as a mediator between transformational leadership and personal knowledge management among millennial instructors. This study examines how transformational leadership, ICT literacy, and organizational learning affect personal knowledge management (PKM) among Indonesian school instructors in their 20s and 30s. Another goal is to investigate the function of organizational learning as a mediating factor. We administered questionnaires to 100 teachers at some private Islamic schools in Bengkulu, Indonesia, and evaluated them subsequently using partial least squares structural equation modeling. The results suggest that proficiency in information and communication technology (ICT), the ability to inspire and guide others through transformational leadership, and the presence of a culture that promotes continuous learning within the business all contribute positively to the practice of personal knowledge management (PKM) among instructors from the millennial generation. The study determined that ICT literacy had the most substantial impact on teachers' PKM. Furthermore, organizational learning mediates between transformational leadership and PKM, resulting in a slight rise. These findings have practical consequences for school administrators who aim to increase millennial teachers' information and communication technology (ICT) skills in the region. One way to achieve this is by creating an ICT literacy ecosystem within schools, which will help strengthen the personal knowledge management of these instructors.
Rustiyono Rustiyonno, Sudarwan Danim, Nadia Nur ifani ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://e-journal.uac.ac.id/index.php/nidhomulhaq/article/view/4585 Sun, 31 Mar 2024 10:04:27 +0000 Unlocking Success: Key Factors for International Mobility Program in Implementing the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka Curriculum https://e-journal.uac.ac.id/index.php/nidhomulhaq/article/view/4681
This article is based on research conducted at nationally accredited State Islamic Higher Education Institutions (PTKIN) in Indonesia, which have already begun implementing the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) curriculum. The informants serving as data sources consist of 15 students participating in the International Mobility Program (IMP). A qualitative case study gathered data from interviews, observations, and documentation. The research emphasizes that the determinants of IMP success in supporting the implementation of the MBKM curriculum consist of four aspects: 1) through the ability to adapt well to a new environment, students gain learning experiences outside the campus by adjusting and respecting cultural differences in the destination country; 2) through international language proficiency, students are increasingly trained to conduct high-quality research and communicate effectively creatively; 3) through their interest in challenges and adventures in foreign campuses, students confidently present in international forums; 4) through the transformation of a global perspective, students are motivated to pursue further studies abroad and intend to participate in international programs in the following years. Understanding and emphasizing these factors is crucial for optimizing the benefits derived from international mobility initiatives within the unique context of religious higher education institutions.
Rohmatun Lukluk Isnaini, Wiji Hidayati, Zainal Arifin ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://e-journal.uac.ac.id/index.php/nidhomulhaq/article/view/4681 Sun, 05 May 2024 05:44:07 +0000 The Role of Leadership in Improving Managerial Accountability at Islamic Higher Education https://e-journal.uac.ac.id/index.php/nidhomulhaq/article/view/4584
This research aims to understand the role of leadership in enhancing managerial accountability at IAI Nasional Laa Roiba Bogor, West Java. Accountability is crucial in ensuring the quality of higher education and involves various aspects such as management, leadership, transparency, efficiency, effectiveness, and participation. Private Islamic higher education institutions face complex challenges, including in infrastructure, financing, academic processes, and the quality of graduates. To achieve this aim, a qualitative approach was employed by involving leaders, faculty, and staff as primary informants. Data collection techniques were carried out through triangulation (combining various sources), and the analysis was inductive. The research results emphasize meaning rather than generalization. The findings indicate that managerial accountability at IAI Nasional Laa Roiba Bogor, West Java is evident in transparency in university management. This is observed through open financial reports, websites, open meetings, and achievement publications. Efficiency and effectiveness in managing educational costs are measured through budget planning, operational cost control, and academic program evaluation.
Siti Mahmudah Noorhayati, Eni Fariyatul Fahyuni ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://e-journal.uac.ac.id/index.php/nidhomulhaq/article/view/4584 Fri, 17 May 2024 21:35:12 +0000 Empowering Banda Aceh's Productive Vocational Educators: A Principal-Driven Approach to Cultivating Industry-Ready Expertise https://e-journal.uac.ac.id/index.php/nidhomulhaq/article/view/4857
This research aims to reveal the principal's scheme for improving the competence of productive teachers at State Vocational Schools in Banda Aceh City. The data analysis involved three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of this research are as follows: 1) Planning: School promotion planning begins with an analysis conducted by the KS to determine the goals and budget, which are then submitted to the foundation. The final meeting, attended by the foundation, school principals, and senior teachers, involves determining promotional strategies, media, and techniques. The school targets are then implemented by senior teachers. A reduction in funds occurred because the school did not have a sponsor. The outcomes of the promotional meeting were documented in minutes. 2) Organizing. The foundation initiates the organizing process by selecting teams based on seniority. Information about activities is conveyed verbally, and there is no official decree regarding the structure or duties of each member. 3) Implementing: Door-to-door promotional activities are conducted directly at schools and other locations by distributing brochures. 4) Supervising: The foundation supervises the entire process, starting with planning by making decisions on goals and budgets, organizing by selecting a core team, and implementing by monitoring promotional activities.
Astheria Luckha, Maria Dominika Niron ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://e-journal.uac.ac.id/index.php/nidhomulhaq/article/view/4859 Sat, 08 Jun 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Risk Management and Its Role in Business Success: Building Organizational Resilience Amid Global Uncertainty from a Prophetic Hadith Perspective https://e-journal.uac.ac.id/index.php/nidhomulhaq/article/view/4916
The research objective is to analyze risk management in business success, building organizational resilience amidst global uncertainty from the perspective of the Prophet's hadith. The results of this research show that risk management helps organizations understand their conditions, readiness, and capabilities in implementing organizational programs. Risk management is crucial and must be implemented because,, through formal, structured, and integrated risk management, an organization can adapt to its environment and provide appropriate policies to achieve program objectives. The management process has been exemplified in the Quran and applied directly by the Prophet Muhammad (SAW). While the Quran and the Prophet's hadith do not detail management practices explicitly, they provide principles that can be interpreted and applied. In the ever-evolving field of education, the role of teachers is crucial for achieving effective learning outcomes. However, many factors can affect their performance, including teamwork and self-confidence. This research employs a quantitative survey method using questionnaires distributed to several teachers in various schools. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and regression analysis techniques to evaluate the relationship between teamwork, self-efficacy, and teacher performance. The results of the analysis indicate that both independent variables, teamwork and self-efficacy, have a significant impact on teacher performance. However, partially, self-efficacy does not have a positive effect on teacher performance. These findings suggest that teachers who are confident in their abilities and can work effectively in teams tend to achieve better performance in meeting learning objectives and interacting with students. This study provides important insights into the factors influencing teacher performance and its practical implications in the educational context. The results can serve as a guide for developing strategies to enhance teamwork and self-efficacy among teachers, thereby improving the quality of education in schools.
Achmad Agus Priyono, Agus Widarko ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://e-journal.uac.ac.id/index.php/nidhomulhaq/article/view/4915 Wed, 26 Jun 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Assessing the Impact of Employee Communication and HR Initiatives on Individual Performance https://e-journal.uac.ac.id/index.php/nidhomulhaq/article/view/4966
Communication is needed in every company activity as a means that can encourage employees to improve performance. Apart from communication, the lack of positive Human Resources (HR) initiatives within the company can result in alienation among employees. It is important for organizations to combine communication and the effectiveness of HR practices into one coherent form in facing challenges and improving employee work performance. Individual Work Performance (IWP) in a company is an important aspect for leaders in the process of achieving company goals. Individual Work Performance (IWP) measurements need to be carried out periodically to find out whether the business is achieving company goals and as a benchmark for making improvements to achieve the set goals. This research aims to analyze the influence of employee communication and the perceived effectiveness of HR initiatives on Individual Work Performance (IWP), which consists of three main elements, namely task performance, contextual performance and counterproductive work behavior. The method in this research is quantitative research using a questionnaire totaling 100 respondents with data processing using SmartPLS. The subjects in this research were employees of the Gunungkidul Regency Education, Youth and Sports Office. The results of the analysis in this study show that employee communication is proven to influence all elements of Individual Work Performance, namely task performance, contextual performance and counterproductive work behavior, whereas the perceived effectiveness of HR initiatives is proven to only influence one element of Individual Work Performance, namely contextual performance.
Maya Lestari, Ika Nurul Qamari, Siti Dyah Handayani ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://e-journal.uac.ac.id/index.php/nidhomulhaq/article/view/4966 Thu, 27 Jun 2024 00:00:00 +0000 The Chancellor's Spiritual Leadership in Increasing Work Motivation of Lecturers and Employees https://e-journal.uac.ac.id/index.php/nidhomulhaq/article/view/4980
The aims of this research are (1) to describe the rector's spiritual leadership and (2) to describe the motivation of university lecturers and employees.
