Author Guidelines

Indonesian Interdisciplinary Journal of Sharia Economics (IIJSE) is published twice a year, peer-reviewed journal, and specializes in Sharia economics research and issue. The aim is to provide readers with a better understanding  of Sharia Economics and current developments through the publication of articles and research reports.

The journal cordially invites scholars and experts working on related disciplines in Sharia Economics. Articles should be original, research-based, unpublished and not under review for possible publication in other journals. All submitted papers are subject to review of the editors, editorial board, and blind reviewers. Submissions that violate our guidelines on formatting or length will be rejected without review.

General Guideline

  • The IIJSE is published in Bahasa, English, and Arabic.
  • The article has not been published in other journals or other places.
  • Articles should be original, research-based, not under review for possible publication in other journals, and must never be published elsewhere.
  • It consists of a title, author’s name, institution, email address, abstract, keywords, content, and references.
  • The title must be clear, precise and maximum 15 words.
  • The author does not need to include an academic title.
  • The manuscript should be typed in MS document format with Times New Roman, size 12 pts, 1.5 space, 4.000 to 7.000 words.
  • All submission must include abstract with 3-5 keywords and a maximum of 150 words. The abstract should contain a title, purpose, method, and research finding.
  • It must be typed in Microsoft Word with Doc. (Word Document) format and sent to the redaction by email using file attachment.
  • The articles should follow APA reference, with the body note, max 4000 words.
  • The author/s have responsibility to check carefully the accuracy of citations, grammar, tables, etc. before submission.
  • The author/s have responsibility to revise their article after receiving a review from the editorial boards.
  • The author/s should register at the e-journal of Indonesian Interdisciplinary Journal of Sharia Economics (IIJSE) http://e-journal.ikhac.ac.id/index.php/iijse/index before submitting their articles and fill the form completely.
  • The article should be submitted online.
  • The articles will be reviewed by Editorial Board.
  • Articles are written with systematics as follows:

TITLE

:

Clear and reflect content (between 5 to 15 words)

AUTHOR IDENTITY

:

  • Full name of an author without a title
  • Institution of origin
  • Email address

 ABSTRACT

  • ABSTRACT: is written in 2 languages (Indonesian and English only in italic form )
  • Content (objectives, concepts, methods, and results) of 100 to 150 words with 1 spaced format
  • Keyword 3-5 words or phrases
 

INTRODUCTION

:

Includes background-formulation of problem-research methods

RESEARCH METHODS

 

the type of research applied in the research process of the related article

DISCUSSION

:

Includes the results of the research findings/analysis, written with sub-sections appropriate to the topic's needs

CONCLUSION

:

Is the essence of the discussion and at least able to explain the research question

 

 

 

  • The source of the quotation is written in the body note form, following the writing as follows: Said,

  • The writing of bibliography follows the following format:

  • The bibliography is written in alphabetical order.
  • Transliteration follows predetermined guidelines 
  •  NOTE: It is suggested the use of a reference manager at styling the footnote and the bibliography, such as ZoteroMendeley, et cetra.
