Publication Frequency
Al-Mada: Jurnal Agama, Sosial, dan Budaya is published quarterly, with four issues per volume each year, released in January, April, July, and October.
Beginning with Volume 5, Number 1 (2022): Islamic Sociology and Culture, the journal revised its publication policy by increasing the number of issues per annual volume from two to four. Under this policy, each volume comprises four issues, with a target of 15 articles per issue.
This change reflects the journal's commitment to expanding opportunities for scholarly publication and facilitating the dissemination of high-quality research in the fields of religion, society, and culture, particularly Islamic studies and their interdisciplinary connections.
The journal welcomes manuscript submissions throughout the year. All submissions are subject to editorial screening and peer review in accordance with the journal's editorial policies and publication ethics standards. Acceptance and publication scheduling depend on the quality of the manuscript, the review process, editorial decisions, and the availability of space in the relevant issue.
The editorial team is responsible for maintaining the publication schedule and ensuring that all published articles meet the journal's academic and ethical standards.
