The Socio-Economic Conditions and Education Level Analysis of the Talok Village Society, Dlanggu District, Mojokerto Regency

Abstract

The Talok Village community plays a central role in the social and economic dynamics of Dlanggu District, Mojokerto. With an area of ​​360,091 Ha and a population of 4.42 people, the majority of whom work as farmers, the people of Talok Village can survive at this economic level, but this is also influenced by the level of education that the community has. This research aims to 1) understand the description of the socio-economic and educational conditions of life in the Talok Village community and 2) know the trends in socio-economic conditions and the level of education of the Talok Village community. The research method used is a qualitative method using data in the form of survey results and interviews with the Talok Village community. The results of this study are as follows: 1) The Talok Village community faces particular challenges regarding socio-economic inequality and access to education. The factors are unemployment rates, access to health services, and educational infrastructure; 2) The socio-economic conditions of the Talok Village community are relatively high; even though the majority are farmers, they are considered advanced and developing. The level of education is also relatively high because many people have attended at least high school. So the higher the socio-economic level, the higher the child's education level, the more attention is paid to it.
