Artificial Intelligence Utilization in Improving Pedagogical Competence of Elementary School Teachers in Surakarta
Abstract
The flipbook application method fosters students' enthusiasm for reading, because pictures or video media can be inserted, so that students learn optimally. The effort to encourage student enthusiasm can be done by increasing the Implementation of Merdeka Curriculum which is part of the strategy to foster a differentiated learning spirit. This research uses quasi-experimental research. The result is that there is an alignment between digital media and teaching materials made by the teacher, and indirectly there will be more intensive teacher and student interactions due to the help of digital books that have been compiled according to student literacy and numeracy. This method stimulates the spirit of learning in the classroom to students as evidenced in the Teacher Working Group of Gugus II Ahmad Yani Surakarta City for the 2023/2024 academic year, experiencing a significant increase in learning using digital book media from previously using manual books. With the implementation of activities for teachers in improving their pedagogical competence, it will affect the teaching process for students using artificial intelligence applications.
