Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of Instagram as a propaganda medium with a case study of followers of the Instagram account @Ahilmanfauzi. Social media, especially Instagram, has become an important tool in conveying da'wah messages to a wider and more diverse audience. Instagram media is used as an alternative medium for information as well as a learning medium, for example as a place to seek knowledge about preaching that raises various religious themes in a way that is light, easy to access, and most importantly, relevant to their daily lives. The method used is descriptive quantitative by distributing a questionnaire with 15 questions. The sample size is 100 users who follow the Instagram account @Ahilmanfauzi with a percentage of 61% female respondents and 39% male respondents. Based on the research results from the validity test, the value was valid in 15 questions and the Instagram account @Ahilmanfauzi as a da'wah media reached an effectiveness level of 83% and was included in the very effective category.
