PERTARUHAN POLITIK NEGARA ATAS MEKANISME PASAR
Studi Analisis Ekonomi Politik Menurut John Rawls
Abstract
Paper ini menjelaskan bagaimana negara pasar berkembang di era globalisasi dan bagaimana seharusnya negara memposisikan dirinya sebagai pemegang politik dan regulasi kebijakan dalam kemajuan ekonomi dan pembangunan negara di hadapan mekanisme pasar. Metode penelitiannya adalah analisis deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan teori keadilan John Rawls. Temuannya adalah negara dan pasar di dalam konsep negara pasar (market-state) merupakan dua entitas yang bersifat dikotomistik. Pasar menginginkan privatisasi dan regulasi sendiri sehingga peranan negara adalah deregulasi dan delegitimasi. Negara harus hadir sebagai watchdog bagi mekanisme pasar untuk menciptakan keadilan sosial.
