Abstract

This study examines the application of the Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Method to improve the learning outcomes of Akidah Akhlak in Phase D at MTs. Opu Daeng Risaju, Palopo City. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the impact of the application of the NLP method on student learning achievement. This study uses a Mixed Method approach, which combines qualitative and quantitative research to obtain more complete, valid, and objective data. Data were collected through pretest and posttest. The population in this study consisted of students of MTs. Opu Daeng Risaju, with a focus on samples from class VIII group A, totaling 23 students. Data collection was carried out through tests, interviews, and questionnaires. The results of the study showed that the application of the NLP method brought significant changes in the formation of student character. This is evidenced by data from the questionnaire and interviews which showed an increase in learning outcomes. The average posttest score reached 78, while the pretest was only 62, indicating clear progress. In addition, 81% of questionnaire respondents stated that they strongly agreed with the application of this method. In conclusion, the implementation of NLP is effective in strengthening students' characters in the subject of Akidah Akhlak at MTs. Opu Daeng Risaju, Palopo.
