Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the results of expanding an Islamic Religious Education (IRE) learning module based on Tarbawi Hadith at SMP Negeri 14 Palopo. The module is expected to enhance the quality of teaching and student learning outcomes. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach, focusing on the development of an IRE learning module. The ADDIE development model was applied, consisting of five phases: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. In the analysis phase, the needs for a Tarbawi Hadith-based IRE module were identified. The design and development phases produced a module ready for trial. The module was implemented with students at SMP Negeri 14 Palopo, and its practicality was evaluated through observation and data analysis. The results showed that the practicality of the developed module reached 77%, which was deemed effective and categorized as good based on the observation of student activities. These findings suggest that the developed teaching module successfully improved student learning outcomes, as evidenced by increased student engagement and understanding of the Tarbawi Hadith-based IRE material.
