Optimalisasi Pola Asuh Orang Tua Melalui Pendidikan Seks Pada Anak

Abstract

This writing is motivated by the existence of several phenomena of wrong parenting patterns in educating children. The consequences of the wrong parenting eventually have an effect on the character of the child who is not in accordance with the expectations of the parents. One of them is about sex and sexuality for children who have been considered perpetual. So what is expected with this service is to optimize parenting patterns for children through sex education for children in the village community of Kalikatir, Gondang, Mojokerto. This community service uses the problem based service learning method. This method is applied as an effort to be able to provide problem-solving for community partners who have experienced problems, namely not optimal in child care, one of which is about sex education for children. The purpose of increasing the knowledge for parents of children in optimizing parenting for their children is done by providing an understanding of the parenting model for children and the impact of wrong parenting. Furthermore, providing understanding to parents about sex and sexuality education for their children. The results of the service learning implementation show: (1) The material on parenting of children given to community partners helps them in understanding good parenting as parents. (2). The material provided on sex and sexuality education helps community partners understand the importance of sex and sexuality education for their children from an early age. (3) With the guidance provided on optimizing parenting patterns for children through sex education, it turns out to be very helpful in providing understanding of good parenting, especially about sex education.
