Author Guidelines
el-Ifta: Jurnal Hukum Maqasidi is published three a year, peer-reviewed journal, and is a scholarly journal dedicated to advancing the study of Islamic law through the lens of maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah (the higher objectives of the Sharī‘ah) as a framework for legal analysis, ijtihād, and legal renewal. The journal serves as an academic forum that brings the classical tradition of uṣūl al-fiqh into dialogue with contemporary legal challenges, fostering approaches to Islamic jurisprudence that are rigorous, context-sensitive, and oriented toward the realization of public welfare (maṣlaḥah)—whether at the level of theory, methodology, or policy application. reports.
The journal invites scholars and experts working in all disciplines in Islamic law by maqasid perspective. Articles should be original, research-based, unpublished, and not under review for possible publication in other journals. All submitted papers are subject to review of the editors, editorial board, and blind reviewers. Submissions that violate our guidelines on formatting or length will be rejected without review.
Articles should be written in American English/Indonesian /Arabic between approximately 5.000-7.000 words including text, all tables, and figures, notes, references, and appendices intended for publication. All submissions must include approximately 250 words of abstract and keywords. el-Ifta: Jurnal Hukum Maqasidi accepts only electronic submissions to el-Ifta: Jurnal Hukum Maqasidi Online Journal System (OJS) by signing in el-Ifta: Jurnal Hukum Maqasidi .
All notes must appear in the footnotes as citations. All works cited must appear in the reference list at the end of the article. In matter the detail of guidelines used in this journal follows the Chicago manual of style (full note) 17th edition, such as below:
General Guideline
The article has not been published in other journals or other places.
- The article should be written in English (United States of America English), Arabic, or Indonesia with a formal style and structure.
- The article should be written in a word document (Microsoft Word), 1, 1,5 space, 12pt Garamond, 5.000 to 7.000 words.
- The article is an original work of the author/s.
- The author/s have the responsibility to check thoroughly the accuracy of citation, grammar, table and figures before submission.
- The author/s have responsibility to revise their article after receiving a review from the editorial boards.
- The author/s should register at the e-journal of Nazhruna: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam before submitting their paper and fill the form completely.
- The article should be submitted online.
- The articles will be reviewed by Editorial Board.
