Abstract

Government policies related to distance learning (online) with various applications that are used as if the teaching and learning model is not limited by space and time. However, in practice there are many obstacles faced by students, one of which is experienced by one of the educational institutions in Mojokerto Regency, precisely at MIS Al Huda, Pacet Village, Mojokerto Regency, especially class IV. Some of the problems that occur when this online learning model is implemented include the lack of understanding of students, students are less independent in learning, parents are not ready to accompany their children, uncomfortable using online media for a long time and the occurrence of acts of violence against children. children caused by the impatience of parents when accompanying their children. This paper contains a report on community service carried out using the problem-based service learning method. This method is applied as an effort to be able to provide problem-solving for community partners who have experienced educational problems as presented above. The aim is to increase the understanding of students through mentoring of several school materials that have been carried out online. Some of the material that must be understood is basically divided into two sub-knowledge, namely religious knowledge and general knowledge. The results of implementing service learning from higher education synergies during the COVID-19 pandemic through learning assistance for class IV students at MIS Al Huda show: (1) Assistance in learning foreign languages ​​helps them to write and speak in foreign languages ​​(2) Assistance in learning general knowledge and Religion really helps students cognitively, effectively and psychomotorically. (3) The assistance provided by the service team as an effort in teaching and learning activities during the Covid 19 pandemic for MIS Al Huda class IV students really helped them.
