Abstract

his community service project aimed to improve environmental awareness and sustainability in Desa Manduro Manggung Gajah, Mojokerto, through tree planting activities. The program focused on empowering local communities, especially students at SDN 02 Manduro, to develop a culture of environmental care by promoting reforestation efforts. By raising awareness of the ecological and economic benefits of tree planting, the project fostered active participation in environmental conservation. The initiative successfully combined education and practical actions, such as planting fruit-bearing trees, to provide both ecological protection and economic opportunities for the local population. The results show an increased awareness of environmental preservation among participants, with positive impacts on air quality, soil erosion prevention, and sustainable land management. This initiative serves as a model for developing environmental responsibility and long-term community involvement in ecological sustainability efforts.
