Membangun Kesadaran Lingkungan di Desa Suru: Pendekatan Partisipatif dalam Pengelolaan Sampah dan Kebersihan Berkelanjutan

Abstract

Environmental cleanliness is a condition that must be maintained and applied in everyday life. A clean environment will have a good effect on society. This counseling aims to increase public awareness of environmental cleanliness and train people to think critically so that the cleanliness of the village is better maintained. This research is a type of qualitative research based on Participatory Action Research (PAR). This counseling is carried out by providing information related to the importance of keeping the environment clean, disposing of garbage in its place, as well as field activities in the form of community service to improve environmental cleanliness. From this counseling it resulted that the community was willing to set up a TPS (waste disposal site) where the community could finally distinguish and process types of waste, besides that a group was also formed that was willing to manage waste so that waste became useful and environmental cleanliness was maintained.
