AURAT MENURUT PERSPEKTIF IMAM FAKHRUDDIN AL-RAZI
(Kajian Kitab Tafsir Mafatihul Ghaib)
Abstract
This study aims to describe genitals according to the perspective of Imam Fakhrudin Al-Razi. The research method used in this research is comparative descriptive, in which the researcher examines Fakhruddin Al-Razi's thoughts on genitalia and then compares with the opinions of interpretive scholars in interpreting verses that discuss themes of genitalia, specifically al-Tabari, Ibn Kathir, and al- Alusi, each of which represents two main interpretations, namely the interpretation of bi al-ma'tsur and the interpretation of bi al-ra'yi and other fiqh scholars. According to Al-Razi, the perspective on genitalia is classified into four perspectives, namely male genitalia before men, female genitalia before women, male genitalia before women, female genitalia before men, in addition Al-Razi also explained a number of exceptions so that he was allowed to open genitals under certain conditions. From this classification Fakhruddin Al-Razi was able to explain more rationally in detail about the limits of the genitals of both men and women than the scholars.
