Development of Learning Media Using Plotagon Story for Speaking Skills Arabic Learning
Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Menggunakan Cerita Plotagon untuk Keterampilan Berbicara Bahasa Arab [تطوير الوسيلة التعليمية باستخدام فلوتاغون ستوري لتعليم مهارة الكلام]
Abstract
Purpose - This development research aims to; 1) developing animated video learning media using the plotagon story application for learning maharah kalam class x MAN 3 Tangerang, 2) testing the feasibility of the developed learning media, and 3) testing the effectiveness of the developed learning media.
Design/methodology/approach - The development model used is ADDIE. With several steps, including analysis, design, implementation, trial, and evaluation. This research was carried out at MAN 3 Tangerang. The data in the study were collected by observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
Findings/results – The results of this study are seen from the analysis of the data obtained and conclude that the animation video learning media is a solution to overcome the obstacles of understanding and practicing vocabulary in learning maharah kalam. It is proven from the results of the hypothesis test using an independent sample test showing a significance value of 0.000. Thus, Ha accepted that the learning of maharah kalam uses the developed animation video media and there is no significant difference in effectiveness.
Originality/value - In the product trials carried out, there is a limited learning time. This is a challenge to maximize the use of media. Even so, the animated video learning media developed has succeeded in overcoming the obstacles of understanding and practicing vocabulary because the contextual content is close to students' lives.
