Psycholinguistic Strategies for Talent Regeneration in Arabic Language Education: Insights from Malaysia and Indonesia

Abstract

Purpose - The application of psycholinguistic strategies in Arabic language education has revealed surprising results, particularly in talent regeneration within Islamic educational institutions in Malaysia and Indonesia. This study explores how immersive environments, contextualized pedagogy, and linguistic scaffolding contribute to nurturing linguistic talent.

Design/methodology/approach - A qualitative research design was employed, involving 60 participants30 from Malaysia and 30 from Indonesiacomprising educators, administrators, and students from prominent institutions such as Maktab Mahmud Yan and Pondok Pesantren Darullughah Wadda’wah. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and institutional document reviews.

Findings/results A qualitative research design was employed, involving 60 participants30 from Malaysia and 30 from Indonesiacomprising educators, administrators, and students from prominent institutions such as Maktab Mahmud Yan and Pondok Pesantren Darullughah Wadda’wah. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and institutional document reviews.

Originality/value - This research highlights the potential of psycholinguistic approaches to create sustainable frameworks for Arabic language education Insights from Malaysia and Indonesia.
