Media Elektronik dan Good Governance dalam Sistem Pemerintah Lokal Indonesia
Abstract
In the era of digitalization, the media has a strong relationship with politics. In the process of democratizing good governance, local government has used the media as an instrument of program socialization through e-government on the one hand and, and the other hand, as a publication of the vision of the political elite reflecting the achievements in leading a region. Following the original objectives, the use of media in the management of local governance should support the process of democratization of governance through the principles of Good Governance as well as forming a participatory community in enhancing the growth and development of the region. In reality, however, the media is only used to expose events and program agendas that have been, are, and/or will be carried out by local governments. This paper explains how the media is used by development actors to produce images as a manifestation of a work program through its behavior and actions that develop on the dynamics of the existing locality system. The findings of this paper are theoretically, a strong relationship between actors, images, and systems in the use of such media.
